The Atomic Easter Egg

It was quite an effort getting all that plutonium

together for the Manhattan Project.

Heck of a lot of effort.

And because the program cost so much they had to do

something  productive with the left over plutonium.

So they made an atomic Easter Egg.

Now it sits in a government-controlled salt mine

miles beneath the Earth’s surface.

In case we’re ever faced with another crisis like WW II.

Or are attacked from outer space by the Easter Bunny.
